How-to: Add, Set up and Configure Accounts in Outlook Express

This article describes how to set up new e-mail accounts in Outlook Express.

Open the Mail tab and press the Add button. From the expanded menu, select E-Mail.

Enter the "From" name you would like displayed in the recipients inbox when sending them mail.

For the incoming mail server, choose either POP3 or IMAP . For more information about the differences between the two, please see the appropriate article from the knowledgebase. If you are unsure of which one to choose, you can safely go with POP3 as it's the most common protocol and is easier for reading your messages offline.

Enter your username and password. These should have been sent to you by NetLink Support or e-mail provider of your choice. If you need us to reset your password, please contact our support.
