Radiowave have just finished establishing their Galway/Ballyvaughan link which will be a fundamental part of the Roundstone connection.

They are currently testing a satellite solution for Roundstone but are revising
this plan to link Roundstone into the core network. Before Radiowave can do this they need to link Fanore into the core network first.

Although Radiowave haven't eliminated the use of a satellite solution, they would prefer to have Roundstone on a wireless backhaul into the main network to allow for greater stability and ease of administration.

Radiowave have apologized for the delay, and have assured us that they have certainly not given up on the project and plan to be in Roundstone soon.

With the distance between Roundstone and Clare, where Radiowave are established, they certainly want to make sure things are done right first go.
