The Internet to Receive a $100-Million Upgrade
VeriSign, an American-based company which manages the
dot-com and
dot-net domains registry and ensures
that Internet users can reach these locations on the Internet,
announced that it will spend more than $100M in a massive upgrade to
its infrastructure to combat a new wave of computer attackers, and
also the huge spike in online activity.
