Microsoft Sued Over Deceptive 'Vista Capable' Sticker
A class-action lawsuit has been filed against Microsoft
Corporation over their "deceptive and unfair" use
of the 'Vista Capable' stickers.
The suit filed in Wahsington claims that a large number of the PCs
labeled as "Windows Vista Capable" were not
designed to run Vista versions that offer the more advanced features.
The suit alleges that the features in the Home Basic Version installed
on the machines labeled as "Windows Vista Capable"
do not match what was promised in Microsoft's
marketing campaigns.
